Influence of the Geological Information Uncertainty on Reliability of Definition of Underground Mine Basic Parameters

The results of research of influence of the initial information reliability on definition of the basic parameters of a mine at various stages of designing and exploiting of deposits are given in the paper. It is shown that the decision about the choice of parameters should be accompanied by an estimation of risk of variants.

Computer-based assessment of ore recovery indices for non-uniformly mineralized deposits

The results of modeling of rock mass stress state in the vicinity of a large open pit using finite-element method have been represented. The model allows to take into account the influence of large-scale geological fractures. The initialization of boundary conditions has been based on the results of determination of stress parameters in situ. The locations of risk areas near the slope have been defined.
